I said this was going to be my last event, 100%, and this has completely messed it up, so I don't know."
Reflecting on his performance, Morrison credited his past wins on the DP World Tour and the challenging wind conditions for keeping him calm and focused. He added, "I stayed calm, stayed with it. I couldn't feel my arms on 18, but couldn't care less, a win's a win."
As for his return to the DP World Tour next season, Morrison's shock and excitement were palpable. "Haven't got a clue, haven't got a Tour bag, haven't got a [full-time] caddie," he joked, looking at his son Finley, who stepped in as caddie for the week. "He's got a half past six alarm for school tomorrow morning. I love him, he was so good."
