Conor McGregor's Revelation: A Journey Through Trauma and Transformation
It's been a while since we've heard much from the 'Notorious' Conor McGregor, but now he's back, and with a story that's as captivating as his fighting career. McGregor has revealed that he underwent a transformative experience, crediting Ibogaine for healing him of past traumas.
Initially, many speculated that McGregor's absence was due to a renewed focus on his Catholic faith. However, the truth is far more intriguing. He embarked on a spiritual journey in Mexico, where he underwent Ibogaine treatments.
McGregor shared his experience on X (formerly Twitter), stating, "I was blessed to meet the most forward thinking doctors from Stanford University and undergo a series of treatments to address trauma." He further mentioned his visit to Tijuana, Mexico, for Ibogaine treatment at AMBIO, encouraging people to watch the Netflix documentary 'In Waves and War' to learn more.
He described the experience as "incredible, intense, and absolutely eye opening," detailing a vision of his potential death and its impact on his children. He recounted a profound spiritual encounter, including a vision of God, Jesus, Mary, and the Archangels. McGregor said he was "shown the light" and "anointed with a crown," ultimately feeling "saved" – his brain, heart, and soul healed.
"I was 36 hours under before I finally rested," McGregor wrote. "When I awoke I was me again. The most enlightening and enchanting experience I have ever undertaken. This treatment is worth its weight in GOLD! It is very, very tough, but it absolutely saved my life, and in turn saved my family."
He expressed deep gratitude for the support he received, celebrating his return to a renewed self. "I am my child again. But this time with the knowledge of my adult!" he wrote.
But here's where it gets controversial... Ibogaine is a powerful hallucinogen, often touted as a potential cure for addiction and trauma. While research is still ongoing to fully understand its effects, many people have reported that it has helped them overcome serious opioid addictions.
And this is the part most people miss... Although there's no indication that McGregor struggled with severe drug addiction, he has admitted to using cocaine in the past. It remains to be seen whether this treatment will help him return to the positive path he was on earlier in his career. While his business ventures have thrived, his personal life has been marked by controversies.
